The Pittsburgh Chinese Culture Center is a non-profit organization that promotes the awareness of Chinese culture and appreciation of cultural diversity, facilitates assimilation of Chinese immigrants into the Pittsburgh community, and supports relations between Pittsburgh and China.

Celebration of Asian American And Pacific Islander Heritage Month

Join us in celebration of Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander month with a performance by Flying Strings Youth Ensemble. Flying Strings Youth Ensemble are a group of talented young musicians playing various instruments blending traditional Chinese and western music.

March Free First Thursday: Rhythms of Asia

Be amazed by award-winning young musicians from The Flying Strings Youth Ensemble, aged 8 to 18. These talented performers play a diverse selection of instruments, including the Pipa, Guzheng, Erhu, Zhongruan, flute, violin, cello, and piano.

Music Matters: Flying Strings Youth Ensemble

The May 2025 edition of our “Music Matters” concert series features the Flying Strings Youth Ensemble.This program is funded by the Friends of the Livingston Library’s Music Matters series. It is free and open to everyone, with no registration required.
